Located in the heart of Pitkin County, Colorado, Wodehouse-Augello Builders is the premiere builder of custom homes and renovations, thoughtfully designed, carefully sited and solidly constructed to endure in this rugged, high altitude environment.
Richard Wodehouse, founder of Wodehouse-Augello Builders, began building custom homes in California in 1975 where he earned a reputation as one of the finest contractors in San Diego County. Featured in many national and regional publications, he became an active promoter of green building practices. In 1990, Wodehouse headed east and founded Wodehouse Builders, headquartered in Telluride, Colorado.
In 1997, Michael Augello joined the company. (After having successfully run a construction management firm in New York, Augello was out visiting friends and fell in love with the Colorado’s mountains, climate, towns and the lifestyle, so he packed his bags and moved west.) In the late ‘90s new home construction was booming, so after two years at the Telluride office, Augello opened an office in Aspen. In 2006 he was named partner and the company name changed to Wodehouse-Augello Builders.
